![]() I can't imagine there is something hidden under this ring beside the lens itself. I see one ring fixing the lens that probably can be unscrewed if it is not glued in - there are two slots in it, one in the same position as the screwdriver on the picture. I'm prepared to determine the miscolimation precisely and try to set the eccentric rings accordingly: Is there any way to collimate these binos? For both eyes open, I have to refocus and the result is still worse than the optimal focus for single eye. ![]() I open one eye and focus, then switch eyes and the focus remains fine is it is (I wear glasses), then open both eyes and notice that the images get merged (quickly and just a bit), but the view is not sharp at all. ![]() I realized, that my Celestron Legend LX 8x42 roof binos are out of collimation in such extent, that I can't focus at stars (daytime use is ok). I've always found lots of helpful information here but this time I'm lost, so I'd like to ask you for some hints: I've just registered, so greetings to everybody. ![]()
